Walking Your Course Clinic

This clinic is a MUST for Hunter, Jumper & Equitation riders at ALL levels looking to reduce competition nerves by having a plan!

It will consist of three main styles of walking your course: first round for the jumpers, jump off, and Equitation/Medals course. The main goal is to give riders insight into how to utilize their track for efficiency and efficacy. Conversation will include how jumper riders can walk their course with the intention to create a plan to utilize their horses strengths. Equitatio and medal riders will learn to walk their course and gain an eye for an efficient track that can show off their ability to execute plans and stand out to a judge.

Clinic cost: $50 (This clinic will be done from the ground, so you will not bring a horse.)

About Cecily:

Hunter/Jumper trainer Cecily Hayes trains out of private facility, Eagle Point Equestrian in Livermore, Ca. Cecily is a well decorated rider with accomplishments across the Jumper, Hunter, Equitation, and NCEA Division 1 competitions.

At only 25 years old Cecily has had the opportunity to ride with some riders at the top of the sport including but not limited to Kent Farrington, McClain Ward, Anne Kurzinski, and Peter Wylde. With multiple All-American titles in the NCEA and many wins in the Equitation Medals.

Cecily is no stranger to the winners circle. Branching into her professional career she has been developing young horses into top athletes with one of the horses in her program being named 2024 USEF 5 and under Young Hunter champion. She is also currently developing a top Grand Prix horse that has been under her tutelage since the age of 3, who has won in the 1.30 Mini Prixs and has stepped successfully into the 1.40 ring.

Cecily enjoys fostering a positive learning environment with an emphasis on prioritizing horses well-being. She strives to help riders accomplish their goals and learn to get the best out of their horses. Her students have wins in the jumper, hunter, and equitation rings.

Cecily’s Program offers training for riders looking to compete in the Hunter/Jumper world, young horse development, and helping with sales.
